Finance Overview

Invest in your future and gain a competitive edge with a finance degree from USI. Our students learn the skills to make sound financial decisions, how to manage and accumulate wealth and understand how finance impacts a company's decisions. With a variety of classes, grads have the opportunity to be flexible by pursuing different career fields upon graduation. As a graduate in finance, you'll have a lot to offer in today's highly competitive job market.

A bachelor's degree in finance from USI equips you with the necessary skills to assist companies in their decision making, analyze financial trends, and prepare financial forecasts. The coursework addresses a wide range of issues including financial analysis, investments, risk, and valuation.

The Romain College of Business has earned accreditation from AACSB, which is considered the "gold standard" for business accreditation. Only 5.7% of business schools, globally, have earned that accreditation. Achieving accreditation is a multi-year process of rigorous internal focus, engagement with an AACSB-assigned mentor and peer-reviewed evaluation. Schools must develop and implement a plan to align with accreditation standards. These standards require excellence in areas relating to strategic management and innovation; student, faculty, and staff as active participants; learning and teaching; and academic and professional engagement.
