Graduate Fee Waiver

Graduate Fee Waiver

The CAP Graduate Fee Waiver was developed to assist current and prospective CAP instructors in attaining certification to offer dual credit coursework under the Higher Learning Commission’s faculty requirements. The Higher Learning Commission (HLC), USI’s regional accreditor, requires that faculty have either a master's degree in the discipline or a master's degree in a related area with 18 graduate hours in the discipline or sub-field.

USI offers graduate coursework in many disciplines that align with CAP offerings.

Teachers needing a master's degree could receive funding for 18 graduate hours in the content area incorporated within their Masters of Education degree. Teachers interested in this option can complete an interest form so that USI's Master of Education Program Advisor and CAP can best share resources for graduate hours and funding opportunities. Visit USI's Teacher Education for information on degree programs for educators.

Contact Dana Drury, , 812-464-1972 for more information or an application.
