About the Expert

Jennifer Evans is an Associate Professor and Assistant Dean of Nursing at USI. She received her associate degree in radiologic and imaging sciences and her bachelor’s degree in health services and nursing from USI. She’s also received a master’s degree in nursing education and a doctorate in nursing with a focus on organization leadership. Evan’s clinical expertise is in vascular/cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. As a Certified Nurse Coach, she embraces holistic patient care beyond physical health. Her scholarly contributions include peer-reviewed articles, mentoring doctoral students and exploring areas like succession planning, interprofessional education and evidence-based teaching strategies.
