All 10-month faculty and administrators with appointment dates August 1 - May 31 will move from 10-or 12-month pay periods to either 22 or 26 biweekly pay periods at the beginning of their 2025-2026 appointment period.
As a 10-month faculty or administrator with appointment dates from August 1, 2025 to May 31,2026, you have two pay distribution options:
Per IRS guidelines, all faculty must complete and return the new Salary Payment Option form by July 31, 2025, at least one day before your fall assignment begins.
If the Salary Payment Option form is not submitted by July 31, you will automatically be defaulted to the 22 biweekly pay option for the 2025-26 academic year.

The transition from a monthly pay schedule to a biweekly pay for 10-month faculty and administrators with appointment dates August 1 – May 31 will begin with your fall 2025 appointment.
As part of this transition, as a 10-month faculty or administrator with appointment dates of August 1 – May 31 you will receive your final monthly pay as follows:
If you do NOT defer pay – You are paid over 10 months, and your final monthly paycheck will be issued May 30, 2025.
If you defer pay – You are paid over 12 months, and your final monthly paycheck will be issued July 31, 2025.
You will receive your first biweekly pay August 8. After that timeframe, all faculty and administrators will follow the biweekly pay schedule moving forward.
Lecturer/overload pay will be transitioned to biweekly in the Fall 2025 semester.
No, there is not an opt-out option. All 9- and 10-month faculty and administrators will be transitioned to the biweekly payroll starting in August 2025.
All Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Accounts (both Medical and Dependent care) (FSA), Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Voluntarily Hospital Indemnity, Voluntary Accident Critical Illness, Voluntary Life Insurance and Disability deductions will automatically recalculate to biweekly pay rates.
Starting August 2025, deductions for benefit premiums listed above will be taken from the first two biweekly pays each month. In months with three pay dates, benefit deductions will not be taken from the third pay.

TIAA employee contributions are percentage based, so you do not need to convert to a biweekly amount, unless you want to change your contributions.

Stipends for 10- month faculty and administrators will be paid on the monthly pay cycle through July. Beginning August 1, stipends will be paid on the biweekly pay schedule.
New 10-month faculty with appointment dates August 1 – May 31 will receive their first pay on August 8.
If you are teaching summer, your summer pay will be paid according to what term the work is being performed. Summer 1 pay date is 6/27/25; Summer 2 pay date is 8/7/25. If your class extends beyond 8/1 (the end of Second Summer), you will also receive a pay on August 22.
Fall 2025 overloads will be paid on the biweekly cycle.
