Southern Indiana is home to many unique scenic, historic, and recreational attractions. From outdoor adventures and historic villages to art galleries and amusement parks, our region is filled with engaging places to go for a road trip or a day out.

Travel on one of our National Scenic Byways or plan a trip of your own, and discover everything Southern Indiana has to offer.

Historic Southern Indiana's region includes the 26 counties below or traversed by U.S. Highway 50. We also support the two National Scenic Byways in our area, the Ohio River Scenic Byway along the Ohio River in the southern portion and Indiana's Historic Pathways along U.S. 50 and 150. The regional map below is divided into western, central and eastern counties.
