As a parent or family member, you play a vital role in your student's transition to college. We encourage parents and family members to participate in Parent and Family Orientation. You will learn about the University and its many resources and become a partner with the University in supporting your student's success in transitioning to college.
Screaming Eagles Parent and Family Orientation
At the on-campus orientation session, there will be specific sessions and workshops geared towards parents and families of our new students. You will have opportunities to learn more about specific areas of interest and visit campus offices to take care of business. When students are completing their reservation for orientation, they will be able to sign up parents and family members. Students are limited to 2 guests. If the student has already made a reservation for Screaming Eagles Orientation, they can go back into their reservation and make edits.
There is no additional fee for parent and family members to attend Parent and Family Orientation. We will provide materials and lunch for up to two family members per student. We ask that you only make reservations for family members you know will be attending.
