Lecturer & Overload Information

Permission to Teach for Full-Time Administrators and Support Staff.

Full-time administrative or support staff employees teaching a credit course as a Lecturer (previously considered Adjunct Faculty) must complete the form linked below and receive all required approvals before the start of the term in which the course will be taught. 

Up to three courses can be listed on one form.

A new form must be completed for every term.

Permission to Teach for Full-Time Administrators and Support Staff

For Spring 2025 term, all Lecturers must have a Lecturer Rank Qualification Form on file in the Provost's Office, with a copy in the Human Resources Information Systems department.

Permission for Full-Time Faculty to teach greater than four hours overload.   

Department Chairs wanting a faculty member to teach more than four hours in overload will need to complete the form linked below and receive all required approvals before the start of the term in which the course will be taught.

Up to three courses can be listed on one form.

A new form must be completed every term.
