Interfraternity Council Recruitment

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) at USI participates in a formal recruitment process at the beginning of the fall semester. This is a process in which there are certain events planned and executed by the Interfraternity Council that give Potential New Members the opportunity to meet fraternity men. These IFC sponsored events take place at the beginning of each semester and all men interested in joining a fraternity are required to attend. After these IFC events, the individual fraternities host events which any interested man is able to attend if he so chooses. The formal recruitment process culminates in a formal bid day. Fraternities may continue to give out bids throughout the semester immediately following Bid Day and during the entire Fall/Spring Academic Semester.

Recruitment Eligibility

To be eligible for IFC recruitment you must:

  • Be enrolled as a degree seeking student at the University of Southern Indiana (12 credit hour minimum)
  • Have a minimum 2.6 GPA based on your most recent educational experience (either high school or college)
  • Register for recruitment via the above online form
