Who Can Apply

The student trustee must be a full-time student, a U.S. citizen and resident of Indiana, be in good standing with the University, have a 2.5 or above cumulative GPA, have completed a minimum of 24 credit hours at USI by the time of appointment, attended USI the two regular semesters immediately prior to appointment, and have four semesters to complete at USI before graduation.

Maintaining Full-time Student Status

The student trustee must maintain full-time student status during the position’s two-year tenure. Students must be able to confirm that they will have sufficient time to take on the responsibilities of serving on the board, with no negative impact on their academic careers.
