Fehrenbacher, Mills and Holt publish article

Dr. Jennifer Fehrenbacher, Assistant Professor of Dental Hygiene/Assisting; Mallory Mills, Assistant Professor of Dental Hygiene/Assisting; and Emily Holt, Chair of Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene and Clinical Professor of Dental Hygiene/Assisting, have recently co-authored an article published in the January edition of the Journal of Dental Education.

The article, titled "Student Perceptions of Digital Scanning Techniques Compared to Traditional Alginate Impressions," is the synopsis of original research the trio completed in the 2024 Fall Semester with USI students. It reviews student preference when taking a dental impression either physically or digitally.
