Become a Research Assistant

As a research assistant in our faculty led labs, you will be able to gain a number of valuable experiences including article searches & literature reviews, data collection and analyses, presentation of findings at conferences, and co-authoring publications. You can work alongside faculty on their projects or lead a project of your own!

There are three ways you can become a research assistant:

  • Earn college credits toward your psychology degree by enrolling in PSY 499 with the faculty member you want to work with.
  • Volunteer in one of the faculty led labs.
  • Get hired and paid to work on a grant funded project with a faculty member.

Interested? Take a look at the research each faculty member does and email them to set up an appointment to chat.
