Club Sports at USI

A club sport at the University of Southern Indiana (USI) is defined as:

"Students from USI athletically competing against club teams at other institutions of higher learning."

If the club sport you want to start fits the definition above, then you're in the right place. Starting a club sport is not something to take lightly. It requires time, passion and organization. The more organized you are the faster the process of creating your club can be.

Steps to Creating a Club Sport

1. You should start by visiting the Student Development page to search other organizations and make sure it does not already exist.  They use EagleSync, an online software that keeps track of each club and their status on campus. You can us your myUSI information to create an account.

2. Once you do that follow the link to starting a student organization. This page will guide you through the forms and necessary steps to starting a club sport:

3. Once you have established your constitution, found 5 student members, a full time staff adviser, a financial manager. We will set up a meeting with our office and get you up and running.
