CAYUSE 424

Getting Started With CAYUSE 424

OSPR utilizes the grant proposal development system, CAYUSE 424. It is an easy-to-use web application that simplifies the creation, review, approval, and electronic submissions of internal and external grant proposals. The overall quality and accuracy of sponsored funding proposals are improved through the features of CAYUSE 424, such as the electronic routing system for internal approval of external and internal grant proposals.

For further instructions on how to submit and manage your proposals through CAYUSE, view the following training presentations:

Additional Required Forms

In addition to the proposal documents, PI's must also upload the following documents to facilitate the internal approval process:

1.  The USI Significant Financial Interest Determination Form must be completed with each external grant proposal submission. The form must be signed by the PI and uploaded into CAYUSE in the documents section.

 2. The Faculty Workload Form must be completed with each external grant proposal and represents the workload of the faculty involved in the proposal if funding is received.

For additional assistance with CAYUSE 424, please contact Rebecca Deeg, Senior Grant Administrator, at 812-228-5149 or rdeeg@usi.edu
