Summer Tutoring Schedule

First day of tutoring - 5/12/2025

Last day of tutoring for the summer: 8/1/2025

Note: Tutoring on Fridays during the summer will be completely online.

No Tutoring will be available on the following dates:

May 26 - Memorial Day

June 19 - Juneteenth

July 4 - Independence Day

Online Tutoring

  • By using the TutorTrac scheduling software available within their myUSI portal.
    • Within myUSI, under "Student Apps" click the "TutorTrac" link 
    • Follow the instructions on how to schedule an appointment listed on the main menu.
  • Request an individual remote tutoring session by email:
    • Send an email to Online.Tutoring@usi.edu at least 72 hours (three business days) in advance of the requested session.
    • The email must include: the students name, the course number/subject/or specific coaching the student needs assistance in, several days and times that the student is available.
    • Our staff will find the first available day and time and schedule your appointment. If an appointment cannot be scheduled within your given availability, our staff will contact you.
    • If an online session can be scheduled, the student will receive a confirmation email from Academic Success Center with session details. 

Tutoring and Academic Coaching will not be available when classes are canceled.

Tutoring times and tutor availability are subject to change without notice.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT ACADEMIC SKILLS

All Academic Support is provided free of charge.

Academic Success Center is a walk-in help room; we offer in-person, drop-in assistance with no advanced appointments required.

Writers’ Room sessions are available both as drop-ins and appointments.
