For the Summer 2025 you can find the Writing Consultant in the Academic Success Center

Students can send an essay attached as a Word document to owl@usi.edu for feedback from a
writing consultant. To avoid delays in receiving a response, be sure you have either given the tutor permission to view the document or attach it as a copy rather than sharing the link.

The email message must include the following information, otherwise the paper review could be delayed:

• A note describing the assignment
• The help requested
• The class and professor
• The due date of the assignment

A writing consultant will respond within 48 hours, except on Fridays, weekends, and holidays when no classes are in session.
