Pursuant to Indiana Code and the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act, USI provides the campus community a public crime log. The Crime Log is published Monday through Friday and is available for public view in the Public Safety office. The log includes the nature, date, time, and general location of each incident. All log entries, except where disclosure of such information is prohibited by law or such disclosure would jeopardize the confidentiality of the victim, will be open to public inspection within two business days of the initial report being made to the department or a campus security authority. If you have any questions, contact USI Public Safety at 812-464-1845.
University of Southern Indiana Public Safety has established a telephone TIP line which allows callers, wishing to remain anonymous, to leave information via a voice mailbox as to any criminal activity or University Code violations. The TIP line is a means for the campus community to assist in establishing a safe campus environment. This telephone number may be called 24 hours a day to provide information. Persons wanting to report such activity should call the Tip Line at 812-228-5029 or campus extension “5029”.
