USI Alum Dwayne Smith guest at Marketing Club

The USI Marketing Club hosted Dwayne Smith M’17. Dwayne is the Marketing Manager for BoxLock and formerly a member of the marketing team for Atlanta United FC. Dwayne joined a large group of marketing students and shared his experience in managing the technical and creative elements of digital marketing. He encouraged students to be lifelong learners. He suggested finding mentors, taking jobs or internships where they are constantly learning, and completing certifications in digital marketing as some ways to do this outside the classroom and after graduation. Smith took MBA classes at Romain College while earning his Masters in Sports Management degree at USI.
