CETL provides support to faculty in their scholarship, research, and creative works through focus areas that include:

  • Promoting scholarly writing
  • Integrating teaching, research, and engagement
  • Scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) | SoTL Fellows Program
  • Scholarship of engagement
  • Consultations on external grant proposals and research funding strategies
  • Fostering collaborations
  • Professional development in research topics

CETL partners with units across USI, such as the Office of Sponsored Projects and Research (OSPR), the Library, and individual Colleges in implementing programs in these areas.
