Activity Point Requirements

Building Community and a Sense of Service

Honors students are expected to engage with the campus and community through events and activities that promote learning, service, and connection.

Requirements

  • Earn at least 3 activity points each semester

  • Fewer than 3 points = points probation

    • You must earn 4 points the following semester to return to good standing

    • Failure to do so will result in dismissal from the program

  • Graduating Honors students must earn 3 points in their final semester

  • Swipe your student ID or sign in at each event to receive credit

Exceptions & Special Cases

  • Studying abroad? You're exempt from the activity point requirement during that semester

  • Joining mid-semester? Your point requirement will be pro-rated

    • Details will be included in your acceptance letter
