Apartment Options

USI Housing and Residence Life offers four apartment communities for freshmen to senior students with convenient amenities. Refer to the map to see where each area is located. 

O'Daniel South and O'Daniel North Apartments

O'Daniel South apartment community is home to over 650 residents and is the largest housing community.  O'Daniel North apartment community is home to over 600 residents.  Both communities house freshmen to senior students and are home to many campus activities. O'Daniel South also is home to the Residence Life Resource Center that includes the mail and package room and the Meditation Trail. O'Daniel North is home to the Housing and Residence Life office (HRL) which includes two community computers and print station. Apartments have exterior door entrances and split bedroom design.

O'Daniel South consists of 10 apartment buildings: Bigger, Wallace, Noble, Ray, Hendricks South, Boon, Jennings (freshman only), Whitcomb, Dunning and Wright. 

O'Daniel North has 11 buildings: Schricker, Branigin, Townsend, McNutt, Leslie, Welsh, Gates, Craig, Bowen, Orr, and Bayh. 

McDonald West and McDonald East Apartments

McDonald West apartment community, housing over 550 freshmen to senior residents, is home to the Residence Life Community Center, which includes a large meeting space, convenience store, laundry room, computers and print station, copy machine, basketball court and sand volleyball court. The McDonald East apartment community, where mostly junior and senior students reside, is home to 360 residents and includes buildings for Greek organizations. 

McDonald West consists of nine buildings with exterior door entrances and split bedroom design: Branch, Durbin, Goodrich, Hanly, Jackson, Marshall, McCray, Ralston, Saletta. Freshman only buildings are Durbin, Goodrich, Hanly, and Ralston.

McDonald East apartments have interior door entrances. Matthews, Chase, Mount (half building), and Hovey are Greek Life buildings. Hammond, Porter and Willard are independent living buildings for students age 22 or older. Additional buildings are Baker, Gray, Hendricks East, Lane, Morton and Williams.
