Why Live on Campus

Living on campus offers students opportunities to connect socially and academically with their peers. Students living on campus enrich their college experience through an engaging and diverse community. While on campus living is not required, students who do so are better prepared for life beyond college.

There are four parts to on-campus living: FunConvenientImportant and Necessary. All these parts together create a well-rounded college experience. In each section, you will find answers to frequently asked questions along with resources and services to help students successfully navigate on campus living.

As you consider living options for college, if you have questions about on campus housing, please call Housing and Residence Life at 812-468-2000 or email Living.
