How would you pay your bills if you were suddenly diagnosed with cancer and couldn’t work? Critical illness insurance doesn't pay your medical bills. It pays you if you’re diagnosed with a covered illness. The benefit is paid directly to you and you choose how to spend it.
What’s Covered?
Critical illness can vary widely from one another. Some may focus on a single specific diagnosis, while others may provide you with coverage for a range of possible diagnoses, such as:

The Wellness Benefit
Enrollees of the Accident, Hospital and Critical Illness plans may receive a wellness benefit of $50 per enrolled person per plan! Each member can claim one of the covered screenings once per year.
For example, a member enrolled in Accident plan submits a covered screening then the member would receive $50!
Filing a Claim for Wellness Benefit
To get the $50 Wellness Benefit, register for a Sun Life Account, then log-in and click “submit a claim” then select “a wellness / cancer screening benefit claim” and follow the prompts!
