Common Data Set

The Common Data Set (CDS) initiative is a collaborative effort among data providers in the higher education community and publishers, as represented by the College Board, Peterson's-Thomson Learning, and U.S. News & World Report.

The combined goal of this collaboration is to improve the quality and accuracy of information provided to all involved in a student's transition into higher education, as well as to reduce the reporting burden on data providers.

Credit Hour Distribution Dashboard

Credit Hour Dashboards are sorted by credit hour enrollment, sections taught, and enrollment headcount.

Destination Survey

USI's Destination Survey is currently under redesigning and will be available in an interactive dashboard view by fall 2022. Most recent year of data can be viewed in the 2020-2021 Destination Survey Overall Results Report.

Fact Book

The USI Fact Book provides 10 years of statistical information regarding USI at the university, college and academic department level, as well as information on various other departments on campus.

Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS)

The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) is a system of interrelated surveys conducted annually by the U.S. Department's National Center for Education Statistics.

IPEDS provides basic data needed to describe and analyze trends in postsecondary education in the United States, in terms of the numbers of students enrolled, staff employed, dollars expended, and degrees earned.
