Procurement assists departments with the proper disposal or temporary storage of a department item.

Procurement also promotes the re-purposing of an item by providing departments with a list of current available surplus for their use.

All technology related items are handled through IT.

Notes

  • Procurement determines how an item is re-purposed.
  • An attempt will be made to find a new use for an item under a different department.
  • If an item cannot be used at the University, then it is possible it may be sold or donated.
  • Available Surplus: items not claimed by 30 days will either be moved to the Surplus USI Store, disposed of, or donated.
