Historic New Harmony Internships

2025-2026 Call for Applications

Historic New Harmony is not accepting applications for the Fall 2025 Semester

Historic New Harmony's internship program offers students at the University of Southern Indiana (USI) and elsewhere the chance to gain knowledge, skills, and professional experience tailored for careers in museums, historic sites, archives, and other cultural organizations. Paid, part-time internships are available year-round and are flexible to meet university credit requirements.

Interns learn by working on projects and programs under the guidance of Historic New Harmony's staff, who provide professional training and supervision. All applicants must be at least 18 years old and be enrolled in an academic program or a recent graduate. University of Southern Indiana students must have completed at least one semester at USI and be a student in good standing. Students studying anthropology, archaeology, archival studies, education, history, library science, museum studies, political science, public history, business, marketing and related fields are encouraged to apply.
