What costs money and what doesn't.

Tour Admission

Most of our tours have admission fees. Prices vary by tour type and age. 

Atheneum Tour

  • Free

New Harmony Tram Tour

  • Adults and children over 5: $5
  • Children under 5: Free
  • New Harmony residents: Free 
  • USI students, faculty, and staff: Free with USI ID

New Harmony History Tour

  • Adults: $15
  • Seniors (age 60+) and AAA members: $12
  • Students (age 6-18) and non-USI student (with ID): $5
  • Children under 5: Free
  • New Harmony residents: Free 
  • USI students, faculty, and staff: Free with USI ID

Group Tours

  • Available for groups of 10 or more.
  • Groups must make advance reservations.

Payment Methods

We accept credit cards, cash and checks. Book your tour at the Atheneum Visitors Center in person or by phone at 812-682-4474. 

Free to Explore

You can see a lot of New Harmony for free: walking the historic district, viewing building exteriors, exploring public garden and spaces, visiting the Roofless Church. Tours and interior access to historic buildings can require paid admission.
