Social Work Conference 2025

Call for Proposals

This event is in partnership with the NASW Indiana Chapter. The theme is Empowering Social Workers! Inspiring Action, Leading Change.

The call for proposal is now available online and the deadline for submissions is November 1, 2024. 

The Social Work Department at the University of Southern Indiana is proud to host the 23rd Annual Social Work Conference to be held Friday, March 7, 2025! The conference committee seeks proposals for 1 hour social work related presentations. The conference committee is excited to invite abstracts for presentations on a variety of topics due to the diverse social work experiences of conference attendees. Presentation topics can be academic, practice, or policy in nature. Proposals are peer-reviewed, and decisions will be made by November 15, 2024.


When completing the proposal, please provide the following information:

  1. Title: 12 words maximum
  2. Learning Objectives: 3- 5
  3. Abstract: Describe your presentation and content; no longer than 250 words.
  4. Audiovisual needs
