Our Mission: The Bronstein Center for Healthy Aging and Wellness is dedicated to advancing the understanding of aging and promoting the well being of older adults through interdisciplinary education, research and engaged partnerships.

The Minka: USI's Smart Home

The Minka Learning Lab for Living Well is a 640-square-foot smart home showcase for living in place. USI is the only college campus in the nation with this type of model home.

USI Receives $5 Million to Renew Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program

USI's College of Nursing and Health Professions has received $5 million in federal funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to continue the Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP) for an additional five years.

Student Spotlight

Yaw Bredwa-Mensah M'25 was a graduate assistant with the Bronstein Center who earned his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Data Analytics. He completed his undergraduate degree in Ghana before moving to the States to begin his MBA.

About the Bronsteins

Philanthropists Sol and Arlene Bronstein were entrepreneurs in the oil and gas industry. After Mr. Bronstein’s death in 1972, a trust was created to fund the Bronstein Foundation.
