The immunization schedule must follow the Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions’ Infection Control Policy.
Students are required to follow the Kinney College Infection Control Policy required for health exams, immunization and tuberculosis testing and/or certificate policy. These records are tracked through student enrollment in the third-party repository.
Each student:
Students may report any change in health status to the clinical coordinator and/or the program chair. Students who disclose a pregnancy will be referred to the Title IX office for guidance and support. If a student experiences a change in health status, including pregnancy, surgery, hospitalization or any medical restrictions that impacts their ability to participate in class or clinical, the student may be required to provide a physician’s release or documentation clearing them to safely resume class and/or clinical experiences.
Students are expected to have healthcare insurance while enrolled in the program. The student is responsible for all costs related to their healthcare, including any costs associated with any type of clinical exposure, while enrolled in the program.
