Minka Learning Lab for Living Well

The Minka Learning Lab for Living Well is a 640-square-foot smart home that serves as a model home for aging in place that embraces adaptability and technology. 

The Minka serves as a hub for innovation and exploration. This innovative smart home offers students, faculty, community members and healthcare professionals the opportunity to participate in simulations, workshops, research, smart home tours and interdisciplinary class projects.   

 Tours of the Minka are offered in person, and now the USI GWEP team is proud to offer an immersive video tour of the Minka that can be found at USI.edmu/gwep/minka.
