USI Degrees: Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2018.

Where are you from originally? Evansville, Indiana

How long have you been teaching at USI? I have been teaching part time for three years.

Do you have any advanced degrees or certifications? I am licensed to provide local anesthesia.

Who or what inspired you to pursue dental hygiene as a career? My inspiration for pursuing dental hygiene came from a deep-rooted passion for patient care. I enjoy the close relationships I make with my patients. I have the privilege of following along with their life achievements while also improving their oral health.

Why would you recommend USI’s Dental Hygiene Program to others considering this field?Each and every faculty member I have had the pleasure of meeting (both as a student and now as faculty) has been so passionate about this incredibly rewarding profession.
