When are the interviews?

There are no interviews.

What G.P.A. is required?

A minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) in the prerequisite courses.

When do my prerequisites need to be completed?

All required prerequisite courses must be completed by May of the year in which you apply. The remainder of the prerequisite courses must be completed prior to beginning the professional course work. Please refer to the Bulletin.

What are the tuition and fees at USI?

Are there additional costs?

Yes, approximately $8,000. (total over the 2 years of professional courses). This amount covers the cost of textbooks, uniforms, instruments, clinic supplies, examination fees, and miscellaneous items. This estimate does not include tuition, housing and transportation.

How long is the program?

Four years. You will have two full years of prerequisite courses and two years of professional dental hygiene curriculum courses.

What degree do I receive?

Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene

Do I need official transcripts?

Official college transcript(s) from institutions other than USI must be submitted to the University.

What is required for application to the program?

You must apply to USI first then apply to the program.

When will I find out if I am accepted?

By the first of June.

What is the national average annual salary upon graduation?
