Facilities

The Health Professions Center houses the Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions and the Food and Nutrition Program. Food and Nutrition facilities include a variety of training areas.

Quantity Food Kitchen

Features a variety of state-of-the-art food preparation equipment and a cooking demonstration station.

Assessment Lab

An assessment lab is used for completing anthropometrics, body composition, blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol measurements.

Counseling and Education Room

A counseling and education room houses up-to-date nutrition education materials, models, curriculum, journals, and audio visuals. Students also use this space to meet with actual clients, either in-person or through telehealth, to assist with nutrition needs.

Food Science Lab

This multifunctional classroom is designed for hands-on learning. Furnished with state-of-the-art equipment and thoughtfully arranged cooking stations, it bridges theory and practice, empowering students to develop essential culinary skills and apply food science principles.

Learning Resource Center

Our interdisciplinary Learning Resource Center houses computers that incorporate software for analyzing recipes, diets or working with data.
