The USI Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP) has partnered with Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library to create Memory Care Kits. The kits are geared for those persons living with dementia and their care partners. Three different kits are available to be checked out. Each kit comes in a clear backpack and is packed with resources, including books to assist the care partner in their caregiving journey and activities such as cards and puzzles that spark conversations and connections.

Memory Care kits can be checked out at any branch of the Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library and the Perry County Council on Aging at their new location in the William Tell Center on Main Street in Tell City.  Look for more Memory Care Kits to be coming to more locations soon!
