Why choose USI? First, we offer two degree options: a four-year entry-level Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy (BSRT) and an online RRT-to-BSRT completion program for practicing therapists. Second, we have 100% Board Exam pass rates and 100% job placement (national average is closer to 68%). We have a comprehensive curriculum, brand new equipment and soon will have entirely new and updated campus facilities to really take our program to the next level nationally.

What drew me to Respiratory Therapy is the perfect blend of variety and specialization. I thrive in dynamic environments and cannot do the same thing every day for 20 years. In respiratory, no two days are the same. The field also offers numerous job opportunities with varying schedules and competitive pay. Whether you are working in emergency care, neonatal units, flight or pulmonary rehab clinics, the field allows you to adapt and grow. I also love that we get to be specialists! Respiratory has enabled me to deepen my expertise and make an even greater impact.
