Change is never easy, and we know this is a challenging time as you navigate recent announcements affecting programs and operations at Oakland City University. We want you to know that your educational journey doesn’t have to pause.

We’ve designed this dedicated page specifically for you to explore our programs, access resources, learn about credit transfers and continue your education with minimal interruption.
Welcome to the University of Southern Indiana’s Nursing Programs! Whether you are at the baccalaureate, masters, or doctorate level, we are pleased that you have chosen USI to further your education! Our faculty and staff are here to assist you in your educational journey to achieve your degree.
Contained in the student handbook are policies and procedures that will guide students in the policies and procedures for USI Nursing. Students are responsible for knowing the policies and any questions related to any of these policies can be clarified by advisors, faculty, or the assistant dean of nursing. All students enrolled with the Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions are expected to abide by the policies found in the Kinney College Handbook. This handbook is located on the Kinney College website listed under "About the College." In addition, students should be knowledgeable of the University policies, which can be found on the Dean of Students webpage.
The nursing student handbook may be found on each Blackboard course site as well as the virtual centers. Faculty reserve the right to amend policies and procedures when appropriate. Any revisions will be communicated to you either in class or through USI e-mail.
It is my sincere hope that all of you have a successful academic year.
Dr. Jennifer Evans
Assistant Dean of Nursing
